Toothache....

I feel like crying.
I have a major toothache that appeared all of a sudden out of nowhere. Argh!!!

The pain started last night just before dinner. I could still chew my food but I started to panic and immediately after dinner, I went home, brushed my teeth (at 10 pm...!!) and gargled with oral solution for a good 5-10 minutes. Huh.... I didn't eat anything after that.

Went to bed, woke up today not feeling the pain, so I thought, "Ok, it's gone."
When I brushed my teeth, the pain told a different story.
Had a warm drink for breakfast.
Went to church but the pain was constantly there!!
The pain throbbed until I could feel it up the right side of my head!!! Please don't eat my brain...

I couldn't concentrate on anything.
And worse, I have a tendency to press that particular tooth with my tongue. All the more it hurts... (Le stupide)

Lunch was difficult for me. I couldn't chew on the right side. Any slight pressure brought a jolt of pain so bad that it made me wince. Dahla I eat so slow kan, now with one side 'gone', I can only depend on my left side of the teeth to breakdown my food!!! That would make me even slower in finishing my food..!! Argh!!!

As expected, everyone finished before me. Due to the pain, I couldn't enjoy my lunch that well, so I didn't finish it. (I almost never finish my food anyway) Brought it back home for the dog to eat. Huh!!

I so have to make that appointment with my dreaded dentist. Ok, she's actually a very nice and gentle lady but I just don't like the drilling in my mouth. The sound hits your ears and you can feel it in your head. Seriously! I actually 'ran away' from her. She asked me to come back again for another session but I didn't. *bites lips*

It has been almost 7 years since I last saw her??? Yea, I bet there will be some people shaking their heads at me, giving me a shocked look, saying "Kath... kath..." (My lecturer called me that, beats me why, and now some of my friends do it too).

I had the same pain during my SPM year. I left it at that for (guess how long?) one whole freaking month. One month!! Why? Cause I was afraid of the dentist. -.-'

Let's just hope that this time, I'll be braver and be able to confront my fears. Please... no pulling of my wisdom tooth, I'll really faint in the dentist's chair.

Wish me luck.... huh........

UPDATED
I finally took the step to make my dental appointment. She doesn't want to see me.... :'(
Her waiting list??? Early April is the next available slot. !!!! Thank goodness the pain subsided for now, if not, well, I'll be "beavers dam" ed. One more month to gather my courage. Haha.
