Death

She took the knife
And led it across her wrist,
To take her life,
And end it with a twist.

Once this deed is done,
She'll forever be free,
For her worries there be none,
She'd no longer have to flee.

Blood draining out from her,
She feels the warmth seep out too,
Getting colder and colder,
Her lips becoming blue.

Her heartbeat becomes weaker,
Her eyelids flutter close,
Her breathing becomes slower,
As she begins to doze.

Her body slumped against the wall,
Her breathing finally stops,
No more thoughts or feelings at all,
Exactly like a dead white corpse.

Perhaps you wonder why,
She chose to take this road,
Perhaps it's time you try,
To share another's load.
