Death

I was Facebooking (what kind of word is this?!) the other day and I came across the profile of my secondary school classmate's brother. He passed away last year, after a battle with lung cancer. And guess what, if he were still alive today, he'd be sitting for his SPM in four months time... I teared a bit reflecting on how precious life is. Yet, people take it so lightly. They take theirs for granted and they even take other's life for granted like killing and murdering. Death, to me, was always associated with old people. You know, people with white hair, no teeth, wrinkly skin, that kind. But for the past year, I have heard of deaths of people younger than me. Sickness, accidents.. A Trip, Food and a Puppy

Sorry been missing quite a while. Here's what has been happening! Exams are finally over and I am officially done with five trimesters of my studies... Whooppee!! Now, I only have one more trimester to go. You can do it Kathleen.Go kick some arse. Here's what some of us did to celebrate the end of exams. Crazy spontaneous trip. Genting's cool glow in the dark bowling alley We went up to Genting for a while. "A while" as in we left at 4pm sth and came down at 8pm sth... The shortest Genting trip ever in my life. I want to stay the night next time please. :) We got lost... hahahaha had to make a u turn near Taman Melati and get back on the proper track. The other car reached first and had to wait again for us as we could not find the parking entrance into One World hotel. The renovation up there is a mess! The Empire Strikes Back

   I wanted to write about something else but I figured that it would be too morbid for some, so I decided not to. :) Anyway, yesterday was my late grandfather's first death anniversary. I won't say much cause I'll end up back on the morbid topic.    Nearly everyone knows what happened with Empire shopping gallery. The blast that made it inoperable, save for the hotel and SOHO, for a month of two. Dad blurted out this funny line, as we were commenting on the crowd in Subang parade. He was saying that when Empire reopens, they will come back with full force. "The Empire strikes back..!!" Imagine Empire's logo here on the poster...hahaha. The Shopping Malls Wars Saga Continues.
