E's ROM Weekend

Image
ROM - Registration of Marriage Eileen's officially and legally married!!! Yay!! Congrats my dear sis. <3 Our family headed down to Malacca for her registration which was held on Saturday... We left on Friday evening, got stuck in some jam and finally reached at about 9pm. Waited for the whole KL gang to arrive before having our dinner cum supper... (10pm dinner *shudders*) Where we headed to? McQuek's Satay Celup. Not your normal satay cooked over a flame, McQuek's satay is where you dip sticks of raw food into a pot of hot boiling peanut sauce. It's a bit like steamboat only it's sauce and your food is on sticks. The uncles, Timmy, Joel and Matt. Check out the pot of peanut sauce.. yummy. Throat killer though. The happy couple!! A collage of where we stayed in Malacca. It's a whole house rented out to anyone who needs a place to stay. RM250 per night. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms (thank goodness), can comfortably fit 8 people or more if you want...

Random Thoughts on 22/03/2011

是我做错了???     I know that I am not good in talking. I was never the smooth talker like how some people are. I pause, mutter some incoherent words under my breath and am at most of the times lost for words. My brain works faster than my mouth. Even my hands type faster than what I want to say. Maybe cause I try to sugarcoat my words... to make things not sound too bad as it does. In the end, what I say come out as lame and hard to understand. Or maybe I am not too sure of myself. Maybe... I don't know.     Sometimes I wonder if I did the wrong thing or said the wrong thing. I know that I am not as smart as a lot of people. Huh. I have enough people around to remind me of that. By that, I mean I am surrounded by freaking smart people. Hahaha. Yea... Sigh.

Day 4 of 30 Day Blog Journal - My Favourite Quote

Image
Life as it is... the grass is never greener on the other side. Most of us would have known that by now. Like yours truly, wished that she could have gone overseas for her studies. Some having studied overseas, still opting to come back to Malaysia to work. Some of us working, think that continuing our studies would be better. Those who have gotten a postgraduate degree envies those who have a stable income as they begin to embark into the working world. Ha! Life...      Is determined by how you want it to be I suppose. Your choice 100%. The situations that occur may not be exactly what you want. But it is up to you. It is you who makes out how you want your life to be. There's a quote that says, " 90% of life is decided by how you react ." Lol. I have this quote written on a piece of paper and pasted on my computer. To remind myself.      In other words, I have the choice to make my life as it is. I have the choice to either ...

Road Bully

*Note: I am telling my version of what happened.* I was on my way home with two of my sisters in the car. I was coming out from one of the small roads onto the main road. So normally, you always look right/left before coming out kan? I looked right, there were no oncoming cars only one motorcyclist who was a distance away. Based on my own judgment, that distance was safe enough for me to come out onto the main road. So I turned left onto the main road. I knew the motorcyclist would be a few meters behind, so I kept to my left as much as possible when coming out, to keep space between my car, the motorcyclist and the oncoming cars from the other direction just so that he would still be able to go through (Now, I wonder why did I even bother...). A few SECONDS later (not immediate), I heard this insistent beeping coming from behind. I instinctively knew it was from that motorcyclist. But I didn't really bother, I looked straight cause there was a car in front of me. The beeping ...

Day 3 of 30 Day Blog Journal - My Favourite Television Series

Image
Ha! This one is easy!!! My favourite television series. But I shall give you three. (minus marks for "tajuk yang lari") NCIS Criminal Minds CSI These three series are the only series that I will diligently follow and watch on TV. If I can, e-ve-ry episode. Not a Heroes fan, not a Desperate Housewives fan, not the Mentalist fan and among many others. Grey's Anatomy, however, is sort of in the grey area of my grey matter... (If you get this, good. My treat. Hahaha.) I love Criminal Minds because it solves crimes based on behavior analysis and the Subject's profile. I never realize that simple things like age factor, residential area, past history, work category can be used to identify and hunt down a suspect. I like it how they can check (hack?) into any government website and do crosschecks from the databases. In this series, there is no (maybe a little) lab science activity involved at all! And yet they are able to solve their crimes. Coolness. NCIS? To me, is...
