Discipline and Children Nowadays

Image
Is it just me or are parents nowadays (my generation *gasps*) really more lax with their children in terms of discipline? Either that or they do not know how to handle their children. I cannot help but get annoyed at them, both the parents and the kids. Children these days do not know how to behave, screaming shouting in church mind you. And what does the mom do? "Sshhh!!! Sshhh!!!" -.-'         As if the child will listen. That's all she did!!! No action taken, just shushing him. I was so busy observing this spectacle take place in front of me I did not really concentrate during Mass.... Sigh. My fault. So annoying! I felt like scolding the kid right there and then. Believe me, I was really taking a lot of deep breaths to treat them as invisible things. If I were to behave like that in church during my time (Gosh, I sound old), I won't live to see the next day man. Do you know how strict my mom was on me?         I was caned (being naughty la), tort

Korean Drama Addiction

Urgh....!!! I am too addicted with these Korean dramas! I thought it died off years ago. But now I am back to the exhilarating rush of sitting in front of the computer (used to be the tv), chasing after every darned episode!!! I will be hoping and praying silently for the new episode to be out every single time!! Urgh....!!! Don't I have any other things better to do? (I do but... addiction is addiction.) Must really not go to that website. But I cannot help it, there are just too many eye candies in the drama.... AAhhhhh.....!!!!!!! *hand reaches slowly for the mouse and hovers over said website* Someone stop me. *in a chirpy voice* I'll let you know later which drama I am now after... Lol. Ok, the episode did not load successfully on my computer. Hmph. Fine. Off to bed then. *narrows eyes* I'll come back for you my dear drama....

Lights Off

Carrefour SS16 Subang Jaya!!! What is wrong with you? How can you switch off your parking lots lights at 10 pm??!! Cars are still parked there. Without the lights, your parking area becomes dark. And SCARY!!! I could not see my car even though I knew where I parked it. What is this? Trying to save electricity eh? This, however, is too much. Too much I tell you. As if in the daytime your parking lots are bright enough, you think it will be brighter at night? Without lights in the daytime, it's already eerie. What more at night? Nonsense! I thought it was only at the level which I parked at. L4. But as I went down, some parts of L3 was also in darkness. WTH? Don't be so stingy on saving electricity that some thing else happens in your parking lots which would bring BAD attention to you. Penny wise pound foolish. First time I actually got scared and felt like going back into the mall. (Dahla got "so many" people around...) Wake up Carrefour!!!

A Hole in One, Not

YK came to see me at work yesterday as she was off early. She had not eaten lunch and it was almost 4pm. So we went down to where all the food shops were located so that she could have her fill. Then still feeling a bit unsatisfied, (itchy mouth syndrome, I call it) we popped over to Big Apple Donuts to grab something to stuff our mouths with. (Yea, I know. Cream!! Sugar!! Calories!! Fat fat!!) *sticks tongue out* While we were deciding which mouth-watering, eye-dazzling donuts were gonna be our winners, I spotted something so odd I thought my eyesight deteriorated again. Notice anything? I pointed it out to YK who also agreed with me. Know what it is? A freaking piece of rubber band on top of a donut...!!!  Huh. ( I thought it was a strand of yee mee at first. Lol.) A closer look. Obvious ain't it? How could they have not spotted it??? The rubber band most probably dropped onto the donut when it snapped. But hello... QC QC. Check your goods especially of this kind w

A Week Later

A photo of how my right knee looks like, a week after my unfortunate 'meeting' with a moving treadmill. Look at the colours of it. "Aren't they so pw-eee-tty....?" *blinks doe-like eyes* Now I cannot wear skirts lest I scare the crap out of people... Hahahaha. Use concealer... lol. Well, it still hurts when I accidentally kneel on it and when I use this particular knee to push doors or drawers close. I forget. The pain, reminds me. By the way, wishing all Muslims a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!! And happy holiday....! Enjoy yourselves..!

An Accident in the Gym

Image
You normally see these kind of accidents happening to other people, people you do not know. These kind of accdients are popular "nominees" in shows like America's Funniest Home Video (No idea why they think it is funny....). You normally watch and go "OM Gosh!!", or you take a deep breath in shock. You would never expect it to happen to you. Now you can say that these accidents happened close to home. Too close. It happened to me. Any idea what kind of accident I am referring to? Yes, I fell off a freaking MOVING treadmill. Urgh! My bruised right knee... And this is even with my long cotton track bottoms. Imagine if I wore shorts.... I think it will be worse. A close up. Skin peeling. The red dots are a result of a hard knock impact of skin and treadmill surface. :o Besides my knee, I also scratched skin off my right foot and I bruised my right forearm and elbow as well. Huh. What happened was idiotic. My fault I would say or rather my coordi
