Innocent Much?

Image
Hahahaha. Look-y what I found. I super like this. Cause the first person that comes to mind, is myself. :P Well, that's what most people say about me when my hidden self starts showing its true colours. Lalalalala *cue bunny dance here* Ciao muchachos....

Death

I was Facebooking (what kind of word is this?!) the other day and I came across the profile of my secondary school classmate's brother. He passed away last year, after a battle with lung cancer. And guess what, if he were still alive today, he'd be sitting for his SPM in four months time... I teared a bit reflecting on how precious life is. Yet, people take it so lightly. They take theirs for granted and they even take other's life for granted like killing and murdering. Death, to me, was always associated with old people. You know, people with white hair, no teeth, wrinkly skin, that kind. But for the past year, I have heard of deaths of people younger than me. Sickness, accidents.. They kind of make me sit up straight in my chair and think. "We could die any moment." Honestly. Who says the Grim Reaper ain't gonna get you if you're young? It was heart wrenching when I saw friends of the boy, posting on his FB wall, wishing him wel...

STKS 1

Stupid Things Kath Says (STKS) Scene 1 Scene Opens KT@Married Man, Jenny, Lin2 and yours truly met up for dinner. Halfway through, the topic of tiredness, computers, data analyzing and porn came up during their casual conversations. Jenny was tired because she had a lot of data to analyze, KT@MM   said something about porn. Yours truly here, ''brilliantly'' combined these two topics to come up with this sentence. "Of course watching porn would definitely be more enjoyable than analyzing data la!" KT@MM  : speechless... Yours truly : *facepalm* Scene Closes Remarks: Yours truly has no idea how such words can come out from her mouth. She does not condone porn and neither does she watch any of it.

Happy Father's Day

Image
Dear daddy, Happy Father's Day! :D Thank you for being a great father to me. Thank you for working so hard to provide for the family. When I was five or six years of age, I rarely saw you then as you were always working late or heading overseas for training. We didn't really spend much time together as a father and daughter. However, I was still lucky in a way. Busy as you were, you had time to spend on Sunday evenings with Ei and I. You would tirelessly teach us how to ride our bicycles. Hahaha. I still remember the training wheels. From two to one and finally one to none at all. It took a lot of falling, bruises and tears for us to be able to ride our bikes and be adventurous around our housing area. All thanks to you, daddy! Thank you for being far-sighted. You decided to enrol all of us into a Chinese medium primary school though both you and mommy understand not a word of it. In return, we taught you and mom the bad words we learnt in Mandarin...

Life & Chess

You know, life is a boardgame of chessssss.... Yessss.... my friendssssss, chess. One side is you, the other side is LIFE itself. Let's take the ivory white players, shall we? And LIFE can take the ebony black pieces. LIFE makes a move first because, that IS exactly what happens. Because of LIFE, you exist in the world. You didn't ask to be born into the world, (well, at least I didn't ) but yet here you are, all the same. Then, we take our first step and see how LIFE responds to that move by making their second. We move our pawns a square up, LIFE reacts by moving their pawn too, or perhaps their knight as long as they see fit. Isn't it the same in reality itself? We take different steps in life and we observe how the people surrounding us react to that step which we have decided to take. Do they support you along the way, do they reject you and laugh at your foolish notions or do they even shy away from you, wondering how on earth you made that ...

TKM: The Reason

Oh my gosh!! I like this so so much. Have you heard of this series? It's something like Glee or Mamma Mia (short version) Musicals are great! I love musicals. The Kitchen Musical. I haven't watched the series yet cause at the moment, I only found out that it airs on Friday mornings, Ntv7. :S Who watches tv then??? Sigh. However, I do get to enjoy their version of a lot of songs on YouTube. Hahaha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NgOcUifnBM I actually love their version of this song. They do it with more heartfelt emotions and they seem to be more in tune with the lyrics too. Perfecto! Sigh. They have a few other songs which I like as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iw_qHzSdLVI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsbBbI7xlxY I hope you all enjoy these too. This is my current addiction on YouTube. Lol. Oh, help me...

A Kinabalu Experience 1

Argh... I wanted to blog about this earlier.. but I was so tired I didn't have the energy. I am back from conquering Mount Kinabalu!!! Hahahaha. Man, it took me a whole week for my leg muscles to recover. I have no photos to show you all. Didn't bring any camera, but we had 4 DSLRs in the group, so I will just have to 'tumpang' my pics from them. :) To make my long story short, (I prefer telling this in person, with all my gestures and over the top facial expressions, bwahahaha.) I'll just highlight the moments of my trip (or our trip, for Jenny and KT). I overworked my leg muscles, to the extent, my mountain guide had to carry me down the last 1.5km to Timpohon gate, after which my tour guide took over the job. Sigh. I was actually very frustrated because I wanted so badly to complete the whole trip, up and down, on my own. Not being carried around... But I was suffering badly, every step down was a torture. Thanks a lot KT, Jenny and the...
