Who loves apples??? I do!!! I especially love them baked and cooked though I know that the raw ones have more nutrients. But still. I also love apple pies. The ones that I will remember most are the ones baked by my late paternal grandmother. Hers was the best. Know why? I was just commenting the other day about educational shows for children during my childhood days (make me sound so old). One of the shows I mentioned was Sesame Street!! One of my faves!! I have always loved the show and I enjoyed the different characters that came along with it. We have the yellow Big Bird , whom if I'm not mistaken, is a bit of a blur case. Oscar , the grumpy fella who lives in a 'mobile' garbage can. He walks and holds his can wherever he goes. Haha. He's kinda mean. What's blue, furry and loves cookies??? People of my generation will probably have heard of kiddy shows like Barney, the Teletubbies, Sesame Street, Electric Company and many others. While all these shows are great and meant to improve a child's knowledge from many aspects, there some shows which I can never and will never ever stand. Any guess which ones they are? LOL. I particularly dislike Barney and his 'cheerful' voice. Hate his purple body and that big fat tail. He's one irritating dinosaur. Remember the song, Barney always sings in every episode? The I love you song? Well, there must be a lot of anti-Barney people out there. So much so, they came up with this song.
