Just Some Links

First of all, to all girls who love/adore/enjoy online shopping, do visit this blog for some tops, dresses, shorts and even purses at reasonable prices.!! They have Starbucks tops, Heineken tops and others in different c o l o u r s . I'm helping to spread the word as I got to know this girl (the model) from the US trip, and she just started this On9 Boutique (I think). No obligations, just visit and perhaps spread the word too? Hahaha. Thanks. For more info, you could refer to her blog I suppose. Secondly, I wanted to post this bout two weeks ago, but too many things happened till it threw me off course...Hehe. It was supposed to be about my *ahem* wonderful trip to Malacca on the 9th & 10th of this month. But then, my wonderful friend, Chian did a good job about it (And was faster than me too! Bleah). So I'm just gonna link you there and let you enjoy our hilarious/silly photos and antics during this trip itself. Not to forget the 'narration' by Chian as

Languages of Love

Wanna share something with everyone on the languages of LOVE ! Nope, I didn't create it. I read it off a book authored by Dr. Gary Chapman. The book is titled "The Five Languages of Love" with some variations in words though. Credit goes to him. I just do a summary from what I understand. Basically there are five unsopken languages in the world of love. First: Words. Some people feel loved when others tell them that they love them. Like, "I love you" and whatnots. Compliments, encouragement are also included. "I like the way you tie your hair." Etc. Second: Gifts. Some people feel loved when they receive gifts (things) from other people. Be it on their birthday's valentine's, Mother's or Father's day. Third: Time. Others feel loved when people, who mean a lot to them, spend quality time with them doing activities together. But the activity must be some thing of interest to both parties!! Haha. Fourth: Touch. Others feel

A Love Lost

My beloved grandma passed away on the 14th of August 2008 1645. It is now four days since her death but I still can't get over it. Her demise has affected me greatly. So much so that I have been crying everyday and everytime I think of her. Her, going away has left a void in my life. I cannot seem to snap out of it. Till now, I feel as if I am a walking zombie. I keep thinking that she will be back so I can hug and kiss her. But then I realize that she will not and start crying all over again. I used to think I have a lot of time to spend with her. I used to think that she would be able to live to see me get married. I used to think that I would always be able to savour her cooking and delicious treats, lovingly made by her. To me at that time, death for grandma was as unimaginable as oil dissolving in water. She was so healthy, even going for walks everyday and the day (Wed) she was admitted into the hospital suddenly and fell unconscious, never to open her eyes again

Today's Lab

I was supposed to blog about something funnier and more personal. That will come later as I want to blog about something else. Personal and maddening. Went for counselling today. Have trouble controling my feelings. Feel like I want to kick people the whole day today. Not. Hahaha. Just kidding la! My opinion of a guy has gone down the drain today. Washed. You want to say foul words, say it among your guy friends or wth even with your gf. Don't say it in front of other girls, especially after they so kind-heartedly helped you out. You dungu!! So rude for what? Dak zhui lei meh? She was just helping you out ok? Voluntarily! Unless your puny brain cannot comprehend that message! And she was busy herself! How dare you talk back to her so rudely?! And hurt my friend? Whole mouth full of garbage!! Literally! Even if you're stressed, do you have to take it out on other people? And we don't even know you that much. (As if we want to know you also...) Ha! Yea, we

Black Fingernails

Image
Hehe... Had black coloured fingernails for a week. Those are my fingers! Pretty is it not? Why I did so? I have my reasons. It's something different and I wanted to try out something new. And also curious to the reactions I would get. Wanted to go with the black dressing and bold eyeliner but didn't. Later people run away. :( "Wah, siong hak sei yan meh?" "Ayo, gave me a scare!" "Why Kath, why?" "Kath, didn't know you would paint this kind of colour!" "Nice ah." "Cool." "Sexy, though in a weird way." "You going Goth ah?" "Eh, makes your hands look fairer!" (Hahaha, thanks.) "Is this part of the fashion nowadays?" (From my dad) (No, dad. :D) "It's black." (Youngest sis) "Look at what your daughter's doing. Don't know which world she's going to/ coming from." (From my mom, with a fake disgusted look on her face) Some just look at me. Raised

Goering Family Visit

Image
Had a busy Saturday this weekend. Grandma's old time employers (I wasn't even born yet) from America were coming to see her. My grandma used to work for them, taking care of the house and cooking. That is also where she picked up dessert recipes like apple pie and lemon meringue pie ! Yum! So, anyway, my grandma, my dad and three of my aunties (including us kids) met up with them. Or rather they came to my grandma's house where she cooked her chinese food for lunch, one which stuck on one of the Americans. He remembered her fried rice. Had very interesting and entertaining conversations with them. We had tea as well in my grandma's house. She baked banana cake, brownies and hedgehog cake! Yay! Met up again for dinner (Yea, I know, seems as if we eat a lot, haha). As our visitors were craving for variety, we took them to a selera makan place in SS2. Pictures below: Makan time! This is Shirley Goering and her son Tom. My cousins (except the one on the left, my sis)...
